We Minnesotans are facing more challenges and more partisan party politics than ever before. We have a recession that is very slowly recovering, a state shutdown which was the longest in US history because of  partisan politics and more people becoming frustrated with elected officals and the election process. I like most Minnesotans are fed up of elected officials that put their party or special interests first instead of our district and Minnesota, but I believe its time to act instead of react. I ran in 2010 for State Representative in the DFL Primary hoping to bring fresh leadership and fresh solutions, I believe in 2012, fresh leadership is needed more than ever.  I believe we as Minnesotans can no longer afford to sit on the sidelines while re-electing the same type of leadership, hoping these elected officals will do the right thing in the interest of the people that elected them. I am declaring my candidacy for State Senate to give the voters of Prior Lake, "A Fresh, Outside Choice" to the establishment of party politics. I am running to represent every constituent of Prior Lake.  I believe a elected official represents every constituents, not only the constituents of their party or who voted for them.  I hope you join me in making Prior Lake represented by true public servants in St. Paul and make Minnesota a better place for everyone.
